We are looking for a Site Manager/Factory Manager who not only wants to lead an advanced production unit but also wants to be a co-architect behind a new organization, a new environment, and a new industrial adventure within the defense industry – located in Brunflo.

This is a unique opportunity to build a factory, a team, and a culture entirely from scratch. You will be a key person in shaping a workplace characterized by trust, quality, community, and pride.

Build organization and culture – from foundation to operation
• Establish a new organization with the right structures, roles, and work processes
• Recruit, develop, and gather a team to create something lasting and meaningful
• Build a culture with clear values: safety, accountability, quality, and togetherness
• Be a bridge builder between employees, management, authorities, and customers

Create a strong production environment
• Establish robust and documented processes with a high degree of traceability
• Implement SOPs, standardized routines, and control systems
• Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards and quality requirements

Be a visible and accessible leader
• Lead with presence, clarity, and warmth – a leader whom employees trust
• Create ownership and engagement across functional boundaries
• Create a work environment that is safe, developmental, and cohesive

Strategy, improvement, and progress
• Develop the factory's capacity and elevate the organization through various growth phases
• Anchor a LEAN and improvement culture from day one
• Ensure a safe, efficient, and quality-assured operation

Lead with a holistic view and be responsible for
• Budget, personnel, and result responsibility
• Close collaborations with customers, suppliers, authorities, and internal stakeholders
• Financial management
• Forecasting with monthly follow-up
• Cost optimization and efficiency
• Investment calculations

Mandate
• Decision-making on investments (CAPEX) according to group policy
• Formal occupational safety responsibility according to AML

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial management or advanced production
• Experience in building or further developing organizations is an advantage
• Understanding of demand-driven and safety-critical environments
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, and/or 45001
• Experience with LEAN, CIP, or other improvement methods
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English
